Mayor Mike Kelly read a proclamation at the Nov. 20 council meeting designating Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, as Giving Tuesday in Springtown and urged residents, businesses and community groups to support local nonprofit assistance programs. "Now, therefore, I, Mike Kelly, mayor of the city of Springtown, Parker County, Texas, do hereby proclaim that Tuesday, 12/02/2025 is hereby designated as giving Tuesday in the city of Springtown," Kelly read aloud.
