During the Aug. 25 meeting the board recognized JSE student Malik Sykes and LJH student Amerca Andrews as Superintendent Students of the Month, and honored high school teacher Skylar Holmes for receiving a Distinction Designation for student achievement on the 2024 U.S. History STAAR End-of-Course exam.
