Cleveland ISD approves turnaround plans for three campuses
The Cleveland ISD Board approved Turnaround Plans for Santa Fe Middle School, Santa Fe Elementary and Pine Burr Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year on Nov. 17, 2025, in a 6–0 vote. The plans were adopted after a staff presentation and required no further board action.

On Nov. 17, 2025, the Cleveland Independent School District Board of Trustees voted 6–0 to approve Turnaround Plans (TAP) for Santa Fe Middle School, Santa Fe Elementary and Pine Burr Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year. The motion to approve was made by Trustee Jennifer Peña and seconded by Trustee Pauline Johnson; the vote recorded Shaquille Sampson, Wendy McNair, Bethany Porter, Pauline Johnson, Jennifer Peña and Marvin Searles as Aye.
