The Community ISD Board of Trustees reorganized its leadership Dec. 15 after President Jeff Pendill resigned the presidency effective immediately while retaining his Place 1 seat on the board. Trustees voted 6-0 to elect Jana Hunter as board president; Pendill abstained from that vote.
