The Board of Trustees of Decatur ISD approved the district's 2025–26 budget at a special meeting on Aug. 21, 2025. Trustee Delvon Campbell moved to adopt the budget as presented and Trustee Matt Joiner seconded; the motion passed 5'-1, with Trustee Jeremy Duncan casting the lone dissenting vote.
