Board Keeps Lone Star Governance Committee, Rejects Ad Hoc Committees After Split Vote
Trustees voted on how to complete Lone Star Governance (LSG) work: a motion to form ad hoc committees failed 3–5–1, a motion to continue with the existing LSG Committee passed 5–3–1, and trustees voted to retain Board Policy language for the committee description by a 5–4 vote.

Trustee Damian Pantoja moved to form ad hoc committees to complete the work; Trustee Susanna Ledesma Woody seconded. The motion failed 3–5–1 (Ayes: Pantoja, Ledesma Woody, Wegner; Nays: Sierra, Guadian, Cisneros, Burton, Franco; Abstention: Wright-Haywood).
