Decatur ISD board approves multiple local policy updates unanimously
Trustees approved updates to five local policies addressing admissions, student activities, library materials, electronic devices and academic retention/promotion. All five motions passed 7–0 at the Aug. 18 meeting.

At the Aug. 18 meeting the Decatur ISD Board of Trustees approved updates to several Local Policies: FD (Admissions), FM (Student Activities), EFB (Instructional Resources: Library Materials), FNCE (Student Conduct: Personal Telecommunications/Electronic Devices) and EIE (Academic Achievement: Retention and Promotion). Each update was presented as a separate action item and each motion passed by a 7–0 vote.
