The Ector County Independent School District Board of Trustees met in special session on Oct. 7, 2025, and, following closed-session deliberations, approved a motion to uphold the Level II grievance decision involving district employee Jennifer Cooper, the minutes show. Board President Tammy Hawkins called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and verified that “the provisions of Section 551.001 of the Texas Government Code have been met” for public notice.
