The curriculum presenter summarized the district's testing calendar and recent professional development. Staff completed NWEA math and reading assessments for grades K–8 in January; 5th graders completed CogAT in January and 2nd graders are scheduled for CogAT in March. Multilingual learners are participating in ACCESS testing that started in mid-January and runs into early March, and the state assessment window (IAR, Illinois Science Assessment and the alternate IAA for students with significant cognitive disabilities) opens in March.
