Sweeny ISD board approves several mid-contract resignations; one position not released

The Board of Trustees approved mid-contract resignations at its Dec. 10 meeting, acting under policy DFE (LEGAL). The minutes list four personnel matters: a junior high math position (released), a high school math/coach position (not released—no good cause determined), a noncertified position (released), and a high school counselor (released). The motion to approve the resignations was made by Mrs. Bohlar-Schroeder and seconded by Mrs. Baca; the minutes record a unanimous vote of present trustees (5–0).
