Developer says Geneva Rock submitted conditional-use application for quarry on July 15, 2026
A representative for Flight Companies said Geneva Rock Products placed a property under contract based on existing P160 zoning and submitted a conditional-use application for sand, gravel and crushed stone quarrying on 07/15/2026; the company said it expects planning review and public hearings.

David Dobbins, speaking for Flight Companies, told the council that Geneva Rock Products became aware of a Daniel property listed as P 160 and entered into a contract after relying on the town's existing permitted uses for that zoning. He said Geneva Rock submitted a conditional use application for a sand, gravel and crushed stone quarry on 07/15/2026 and had paid all required fees.
