Supervisors discussed deteriorating township finances during the July 28 meeting, with Placke leading the item. The minutes list outstanding township balances as of June 30, 2026: Loup $41,875.82; Midland $39,365.93; Prairie Creek $75,987.75; and Vieregg $72,587.41. The board also identified uncashed-check totals as of the same date: Clarksville $15,373.57; Loup $7,972.65; Midland $2,609.61.
