The Simonton City Council voted to appoint CJ Ferguson and Sarah Raino to the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation at its Feb. 3 special meeting. Justin Boudreau moved to appoint both candidates and Kelli Carlson seconded; councilmembers recorded a unanimous vote with five ayes and no recorded noes.
