At the Feb. 18 combined EDC meeting, consultant Joe Esch detailed required and recommended training for Economic Development Corporation board members. He listed three items he said the boards should complete: TEDC (Texas Economic Development Corp) state tax training; Open Meetings and Public Information training through the Office of the Attorney General (OAG); and cybersecurity training "only required if a board member has a city email address."
