Board approves multiple local policies during work session
The Lewisville ISD board approved local policy DBD and local policies DGBA and GF in unanimous votes during the Aug. 4 work session. These approvals update district policy; the minutes record motions and votes but do not reproduce policy text.

During the Aug. 4 work session the board approved Board Policy DBD (Local) and a combined approval for DGBA and GF (Local). Dr. Staci Barker moved approval of DBD with Dr. Sheila Taylor seconding; Dr. Taylor moved approval of DGBA and GF with Michelle Alkhatib seconding. Each motion carried 6-0.
