Staff from community development presented a draft set of changes to the county’s conditional‑use permit (CUP) process at the April 28 work session. The P&Z suggestions include removing a five‑acre CUP trigger in some cases, exempting certain one‑acre sites or existing lots from CUP requirements for stick‑built or modular homes, and clarifying that health‑department approvals and other permits must be secured before permitting actions proceed.
