Commission appoints Chris Christopherson interim Road & Bridge and Solid Waste supervisor
Following an immediate resignation of the Road and Solid Waste supervisor roles, the Board appointed Chris Christopherson as interim supervisor effective Aug. 17, 2026; the motion passed 2–1 and Christopherson will receive the previous supervisor's temporary compensation while retaining his current classification.

Commissioners told staff that the Road Supervisor, the Solid Waste Supervisor and the head of Special Bridge resigned effective immediately during the week of Aug. 17, 2026. To maintain continuity, the Board amended the agenda and appointed Chris Christopherson as interim Road and Bridge Supervisor and Solid Waste Supervisor effective Aug. 17, 2026.
