Trustees adopted a resolution to allow released-time religious instruction and approved a related local policy. The resolution and the policy were both passed unanimously during the Nov. 19 meeting.

The Red Lick ISD Board approved a Resolution Adopting Released Time Religious Instruction and then approved a related policy addressing release-time instruction. The transcript records: "I move that the Board approve the Resolution Adopting Released Time Religious Instruction as presented," a motion made by John Floyd and seconded by Monica Harrison; later the board accepted the policy by a separate motion recorded as "I move we accept the Release Time Religious Instruction policy as presented," made by John Floyd and seconded by Nathan Thomas. Both actions passed by unanimous vote.
