Todd Jones with the Indiana Department of Transportation asked the Centerville Town Council to authorize a temporary closure of Plum Street from Morton to Spruce on July 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The council approved the request by motion (moved by Joshua Tudor, seconded by Gary Holbert) with a recorded 3-0 vote.
