The committee approved two joint resolutions (S388 and S389) that put permanent regulatory language in place for scholarship changes enacted by emergency regulation last year. Staff said the changes are necessary so students will continue to receive scholarships this fall if related statutory timelines and other bills do not complete before the academic cycle.
