The Committee heard the tri‑agency plan to align K–12 advising, college application and workforce data through MyTexasFuture, Texas OnCourse, and enhanced TWC wage data. THECB said direct admissions gives students a preview of colleges they likely qualify for and a single sign‑on into ApplyTexas; TEA will require ninth‑grade notification and a simple opt‑out process for students beginning with the class of 2027.
