The Land Board approved a motion to clarify the objection process for water-rights claims (item 1025-8) during the Oct. 20 meeting. Amanda Kaster introduced the item and Commissioner James Brown summarized the recommended clarification. Public commenters included Jocelyn Cahill (Senior Ag Water Rights Alliance) and Raylee Honeycutt (Montana Stockgrowers Association). The motion passed unanimously.
