Senate higher education committee adopts interim rules, establishes interim charge
The Senate Higher Education Committee adopted interim rules unanimously and set plans for interim monitoring of implementation of recent higher-education laws, opening the interim session and scheduling panels on SB 37, HB 127 and community college finance.

Chairman Bettencourt called the Senate Higher Education Committee to order and the clerk called roll before the panel adopted interim rules for the interim session. "We have 6 members present; a quorum is established," the chair said, and the committee approved the rules 6–0 after a motion by the vice chair and a second by Senator West.
