The Health and Safety Committee approved a Class A beer license application for Holland Town Mini Mart LLC, doing business as Merrill Senex at 504 East 2nd Street. Chief Bennett reported the store was recently sold, the buyers hold a provisional license while this application is processed, and he found no background concerns; "there was nothing of concern in the background, so I recommend approval," he said.
A committee member moved and the motion was seconded; the committee voted by voice and the motion passed. The license will allow the business to sell packaged beer under the city's Class A rules; no additional conditions were recorded in the committee discussion.
