AGDC and Glenfarn representatives told the committee that the Fairbanks spur line is a key eligibility commitment for tax treatment and that developers have studied multiple alignments and optimization opportunities. "One of the ways... to make this project the best for Alaskan communities is to include the Fairbanks spur line," Matt Kissinger said, tracing the spur's origin to prior ASAP work and subsequent Alaska LNG studies.
