At its April 9, 2025 Board Workshop, the Lovejoy Independent School District Board of Trustees heard a presentation on teaching and learning from Assistant Superintendent Dr. Laurie Tinsley, participated in classroom learning walks led by district and campus leadership, and adjourned at 10:50 AM. There were no public comments.

The Lovejoy Independent School District Board of Trustees convened a Board Workshop on April 9, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. at the Carrie L. Lovejoy Child Development Center in Allen. Board President Barrett Owens called the meeting to order and announced a quorum; trustees Marvin Bobo, Jason Jaynes, Julie McLaughlin, Amy Smith, Mark Wheelis and Jeff Wood were recorded present.
