Maple Street paving delayed to spring 2026 after contractor request
Council recorded a contractor request to postpone the final 1.5-inch mill and overlay on Maple Street until spring 2026; the borough engineer approved the extension and the remaining paving is expected to be completed by April 26, 2026. Council will follow up on plans from Greenman-Pedersen, Inc.

Councilmember Marc Gaughan described a miscommunication between Stafursky Paving and RLE Enterprises about the Maple Street Paving Project and relayed an email chain forwarded by borough engineer Robert J. Bochicchio of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. RLE Project Manager Todd Cantafio requested permission to complete the remaining 1.5-inch mill and overlay in spring 2026; the request was approved and RLE now anticipates completion by April 26, 2026.
