Committee approves church access deed, updates public-records policy and forwards school recognition
On Feb. 10 the committee approved a quitclaim deed allowing a church to access a parking garage, unanimously approved an update to the Public Records Policy, and forwarded Westmoreland High School's Reward School designation to the full Commission.

The Sumner County Legislative Committee approved a quitclaim deed that allows a church to access a county parking garage. Comm. Dr. Jamie Teachenor moved the initial discussion and, after brief debate, Comm. Jerry Becker moved to approve the deed; the committee carried the approval unanimously.
