The commission approved an invitation for author Wade Rouse to return to Fenton on Oct. 14, 2026 for a book-author event showcasing his new book, The Bluff. Karen Piacentini of Fenton's Open Book presented the opportunity; a motion by Commissioner Dyball, seconded by Chair Pat Lockwood, carried on a roll call vote with six yeas and one no (Botte celli).
