Several council members sought more detail on oversight of a newly enabled Housing Opportunities Trust Fund: who would evaluate applications, whether the Housing Opportunities Advisory Committee (previously sunset) should be reconstituted, or if the Housing and Community Development board should assume the role. Staff said those are policy choices to be set later by council and county executive if the charter amendment passes.
