Sherman County Court approves select merit increases, denies others and a classification change
During its March 9 special session, Sherman County Court authorized two-step increases for two employees, denied a two-step request for one employee, approved a certificate-based step if completed, and rejected a proposed classification change for another employee; all votes were 3-0.

Sherman County Court approved two-step increases for Joseph Blunt and Amy Phelps after a motion by Commissioner Justin Miller, seconded by Commissioner Joan Bird; the vote was recorded as 3-0 in favor. In the same series of personnel actions the Court denied a two-step increase request for employee Nick Weis in a separate 3-0 vote.
