Commissioners appoint Carrie Lane to Union County Fair Association board
The Board filled an unexpired seat on the Union County Fair Association board by appointing Carrie Lane; the term runs through Dec. 31, 2029. The appointment followed a review of applications after Heather Rajkovich’s resignation.

At the March 18 meeting the Union County Board of Commissioners approved Court Order 2026-10 appointing Carrie Lane to the Union County Fair Association Board of Directors to fill an unexpired term. Administrative Officer Shelley Burgess said the opening was advertised and multiple applications were received after Heather Rajkovich resigned. The Board chose Lane; her term expires December 31, 2029. Commissioner Paul Anderes moved to approve the appointment and Commissioner Jake Seavert seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
