At the close of the June 10 special meeting, Commissioner Jake Seavert announced the board's next special meeting on this topic for Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The scheduling follows Ballot Measure 31-101's requirement that the board meet the second Wednesday of February, June and October to discuss border-relocation interests.
