The Union County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously April 15 to approve Court Order 2026-11, annexing several properties into the La Grande Rural Fire Protection District. Planning Director Inga Williams presented petitions from multiple property owners (listed in attached exhibits A–E) seeking annexation for improved fire protection; the fire district had indicated it was prepared to annex the properties.
