Union County approves up to $2,000 for North Powder spring clean-up

The Union County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously April 15 to approve up to $2,000 to help the City of North Powder stage its April 18 spring clean-up day. Alan Brown, a North Powder city councilman, told commissioners the city will provide dumpsters and arrange special disposal for metal, tires, e-cycle items, batteries and yard debris; he estimated costs at about $2,500 to $3,000.
