Commissioners approve 2.9% on-route collection rate increase for Union Sanitation
Union Sanitation asked the board to raise on-route collection rates 2.9% after Waste Pro raised transfer-site disposal fees 3.4%; commissioners approved Resolution 2025-22 unanimously, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Craig George of Union Sanitation told the board that Waste Pro increased disposal fees at the Union County transfer site by 3.4 percent and that Union Sanitation is requesting a 2.9 percent increase to cover rising expenses. The company said the increase would take effect Jan. 1, 2026.
