Commissioners authorize Title III search-and-rescue vehicle RFP up to $46,000

The commission authorized staff July 15 to accept a qualifying bid for a used search-and-rescue vehicle up to the Title III grant maximum of $46,000 so the county would not lose an available vehicle. Administrative Officer Shelley Burgess said the RFP was posted and delivered to local dealers and that Emergency Manager Nick Vora prepared the request with a July 17 deadline.
