The sheriff's office presented a memorandum of understanding with Our Rescue, a nonprofit that works to protect children from trafficking and exploitation, and said the group will donate $6,335 to pay for a license for digital-forensic software described in the meeting as able to access locked phones. Commissioners approved the MOU and donation by unanimous vote.
