Board approves library lease for North Lake Annex
The Lake County Board approved a lease with the Lake County Library District for a single room in the North Lake Annex; commissioners flagged shared-hallway access and supervision during library hours as items for coordination with Community Corrections.

The Lake County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Feb. 4 to accept a lease with the Lake County Library District for space in the North Lake Annex. Chair Barry Shullanberger described the arrangement as a "common lease agreement" for a single room with entry at the back of the building; Vice-Chair James Williams noted the space was a single room with a shared hallway and raised concerns about restroom access. Commissioner Mark Albertson said Community Corrections needed to ensure no unattended sexual offenders would be in the common hallway while the library was open.
