The Marion County Board of Commissioners approved an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the City of Salem to formalize terms under which Salem will provide maintenance and install traffic-control devices on a portion of Rees Hill Road currently within county jurisdiction, pending future annexation. The IGA was presented by Public Works and described as a temporary operational arrangement until annexation occurs.
