Committee approves $200,000 contract increase for CNG station maintenance
DeKalb's Public Works committee approved a change order to continue maintenance of compressed natural gas fueling stations, adding the new Buford Highway station and authorizing up to $200,000 to Atlantic Gas Light Company for routine and on-call repairs.

The committee approved change order No. 3 to contract 2000167 to secure ongoing maintenance and on-call repair services for the county's compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations, including the recently purchased Buford Highway station. Sharwan Singh, assistant director of Solid Waste Management, explained the request and confirmed the recommendation to continue work with Atlantic Gas Light Company for an amount not to exceed $200,000.
