The Jasper County Board of Supervisors approved two temporary liquor licenses for 2nd Ave Social LLC to operate at Country View Barn, 7198 E. 36th St. S., Newton. The board approved a license for an event on Sept. 25, 2026 and another for Oct. 9, 2026. Both motions were made by Supervisor Talsma, seconded by Supervisor Cupples, and each passed 3-0.
