The Ballinger ISD Board of Trustees adopted Board Policy EFB (Local) at its Sept. 8 meeting. The policy was presented to ensure the district provides a wide range of library materials that support student achievement, varying levels of difficulty, and a variety of points of view; it also sets standards for collection development and evaluation. Scott King moved to approve the policy (alternate as presented) and Michelle Aguilera seconded; trustees voted unanimously to adopt it.
