Plainfield council adopts several resolutions and advances multiple ordinances
Council unanimously adopted Resolutions No. 2026-30 through 2026-33 (including a comprehensive-plan amendment and a vacant building tax-abatement request) and advanced or adopted several ordinances, including annexations and a right-of-way dedication (Ordinance No. 21-2026 adopted).

At its Aug. 10 meeting, the Town Council approved a package of resolutions and conducted multiple ordinance readings. Resolutions adopted included 2026-30 (amending the Thrive! Comprehensive Plan), 2026-31 (a declaratory resolution requesting approval for a vacant-building tax-abatement deduction for 501 Airtech Parkway), 2026-32 (an interlocal agreement with Hendricks County), and 2026-33 (amending the Consolidated Plainfield Economic Development Area allocation areas). Each passed by unanimous roll call.
