Residents ask council to explain $8M in Waller County mobility bond projects affecting Prairie View streets

During the public comment period, resident David Allen told the council that the Waller County mobility bond passed about seven years ago and, he said, the bond includes roughly $8 million earmarked for streets within Prairie View. Allen said city residents were not being adequately informed about when or where construction would occur and asked the council to obtain the bond and interlocal documents to explain which streets would be affected and whether residents would face lane widenings or property acquisitions.
