Family Promise asks Cowlitz County to pass through homeless‑prevention funds

Gina James (Health & Human Services) introduced Sarah Wallace, executive director of Family Promise, who described the nonprofit’s prevention program and a request to use unallocated consolidated homeless grant (CHG) funds for an expansion. "Our mission is to prevent and end family homelessness," Wallace said, explaining Family Promise provides short-term rental assistance, move-in deposits and case management to keep families with children stably housed.
