County Engineer Cathy Nicholas reviewed the Wheeler Road Bridge history and replacement prospects, noting the bridge was closed around 2020 and that a similar sister bridge (Nesbitt Road) was replaced in 2014. Nicholas said a replacement would likely be a standard slab bridge and "we do believe it would be approximately $1,400,000 to replace that structure."
