The Robertson County Commission unanimously approved Resolution 042125034 on April 21 to recognize emergency telecommunicators (dispatchers) as first responders and to support state and federal efforts to reclassify them. Commissioner Stubblefield introduced the resolution and described dispatchers’ daily exposure to traumatic calls and their critical role as the first point of contact for first responders.
