Renata Scannell, a representative of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors' MAS Insurance Trust, told the Adams County Board the trust can provide property and casualty coverage for county operations but requires a formal application and at least 60 days from a complete submission to the policy renewal date. "Right now, MASA is providing coverage for approximately 70 counties across the state," Scannell said, explaining reviews by trustees and reinsurance carriers take time.
