Mister Smith, the county's Climate Smart coordinator, asked the committee to consider organizing a countywide energy‑literacy workshop modeled on a Queensbury Climate Smart Task Force event. "At our last Climate Smart Communities meeting, we discussed a previously successful energy literacy workshop that was put on by the Queensbury Climate Smart Task Force," he said, and described a "one‑stop shop" for homeowners featuring contractor estimates, NYSERDA assistance and National Grid staff available to answer billing questions.
